Borgo Sant’Angelo, was built in the early 1800s as the former the residence of the conte Sacchi , the personal doctor to Queen Margherita of Savoy. Our family acquired it in 1980’s and carried out a conservation renovation, enhancing its original architecture and historical beauty. The new generation is bringing another dimension to the Castello (as the locals call it) opening its doors to hospitality, art and the pleasures of good living!
The property now consists of a main villa of about 1000 mq that sets on three floors. Typical architecture from the XIXth century, several dependences surround and enclose the perimeter of the proprety with two courtyards and a lush garden .
Borgo Sant’Angelo offers accommodations for up to 19 guests at the moment, features incredible original Fresco’s and host a lifetime collection of contemporary Art and design pieces together with the archives of the Artist Filippo Panseca.
The project of renovation seems to be just starting as 2000mq of dependences are waiting to be restored…
